About Ask Gava
Finding out how to do something with Government shouldn't take a cyber café, three websites and a Facebook group. Most people search for a portal, land on a blog, and still aren't sure what's current.
Ask Gava is an independent service. We read official Government of Kenya sources, keep a checked record of each service, and give you the answer in plain words with the source and date attached.
We started with the services Kenyans search for most, from KRA and SHA to HELB, NTSA and passports. We cover 2,031 services so far and add more every month.
Clear lines
What Ask Gava is, and isn't.
Ask Gava helps you understand Government of Kenya services: what to do, what you need, what it costs, where to go, and the official link to do it.
- Not a Government agency or office
- Not a news site or a political commentator
- Not a lawyer, tax adviser or immigration agent
- Not a payment intermediary: we never take money
- Not an agent that processes documents for you
Official transactions always happen on the Government's own systems, like eCitizen, iTax and the agency portals. We send you there.
