Apply to teach NEMA's EIA/EA training curriculum (training institutions)

Training institutions apply on NEMA's eCitizen portal (Application for EIA EA/SEA Training Curriculum) and pay KSh 40,000 to be accredited. NEMA issues the accreditation letter within 21 working days.

What you need
- Proof the institution is recognised by the Ministry of Education or the Directorate of Technical Training
- Details of at least 5 trainers who are fully registered EIA experts
Steps
- Log in to nema.ecitizen.go.ke with your eCitizen account and choose Application for EIA EA/SEA Training Curriculum.
- Fill in the application, attach all the required documents and pay the accreditation fee.
- Once accredited, send NEMA a list of all your EIA/EA and SEA trainees every year.
Watch out
- NEMA supervises, monitors and evaluates accredited institutions, so expect visits and cooperate with them.
- Studying EIA? Only NEMA-authorised institutions may offer the course. Check NEMA's published list before you pay.
Who can apply
- Training institutions recognised by the Ministry of Education or the Directorate of Technical Training.
- The institution needs 5 qualified staff who are fully registered EIA experts, and proper training facilities.
- Individuals: anyone who wants to register as an EIA/EA expert is expected to have done this curriculum.
