Enrol a medical lab in proficiency testing (EQA) with NPHL

Register once online on the NPHL portal (Portal, then NHRL PT), pick your module and fill in the form; NHRL confirms by email after checking your details. The scheme covers HIV early infant diagnosis, viral load and flow cytometry.

Steps
- Check that your test is covered: HIV early infant diagnosis, HIV viral load or flow cytometry.
- Go to the NPHL website, click Portal, choose NHRL PT, pick your module from the list and fill in the online form.
- Wait for the confirmation email. It comes after the NHRL team checks your details.
- Before each PT round, fill in the readiness assessment in your account.
Watch out
- You register only once. Your account stays, but the readiness assessment is needed every round.
- If a result is unsatisfactory, do a root cause analysis and corrective action, then submit the online form within the set time.
