Check the Scholarships page on education.go.ke: the Ministry lists each government and bilateral scholarship call with its level, country and deadline. Apply the way that call says, before its deadline.
- Fee
- We couldn't confirm a fee from the official page. Check it there before you pay.
- Deadline
- 20 Nov 2026 KINGS 2027 (Korea) master's scholarship: forms to the Foreign Service Academy by 20 November 2026
- Deadline
- 30 Nov 2026 Swiss Government research fellowships and PhD scholarships: apply on GO ESKAS by 30 November 2026
- Where
- Online on the Ministry of Education Scholarships page (education.go.ke); each call says where to send your application
What you need
- The Ministry's standard scholarship application form, where the call asks for it
- Copies of your academic certificates and testimonials
Steps
- Open the Scholarships page on education.go.ke and pick a call that fits your level (undergraduate, master's, PhD) and is still open.
- Download the call's announcement and, if it asks for it, the Ministry's standard scholarship application form.
- Apply exactly where the call says. For example, Swiss Government scholarships are applied for online on the GO ESKAS portal.
Watch out
- Not every call goes to the Ministry. Some, like KINGS, are handled by the Foreign Service Academy at Upper Hill Chambers, so send your forms where the call says.
- Each call has its own deadline and calls close fast. Check the page often and apply well before the date shown.
Who can apply
- Depends on the call. For example, the Swiss Government research fellowships and PhD scholarships take applicants aged up to 35.
- The KINGS (Korea) master's in nuclear power and energy policy is aimed at professionals in the nuclear and energy sectors
