Get or renew a Nyeri County single business permit

Take a filled application form to the Nyeri County Revenue Directorate or your sub-county revenue office. The county's service charter says a single business permit should be issued in about 20 minutes, with charges set under the Nyeri County Revenue Administration Act, 2014.

Steps
- Go to the Revenue Directorate or your sub-county revenue office (open 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday).
- Fill in and hand in the single business permit application form.
- Pay the charge for your type of business. Rates are set in the Revenue Administration Act, 2014 as amended by the county Finance Acts, the latest being the Nyeri County Finance Act, 2025.
- Collect your permit. The charter target is 20 minutes.
