Join Ajira Digital to learn and find online work

Ajira Digital is a free government programme that trains young Kenyans for online work. Create an account on ajiradigital.go.ke, verify your national ID, complete your profile, then book a free training class or browse jobs.

What you need
- Your national ID number, with your first and last name exactly as on the ID
- Basic computer skills, an internet connection and a computer or laptop
Steps
- Create an account on ajiradigital.go.ke and verify your national ID during registration.
- Log in and fill in your profile to at least 80%. You need this before you can book a class.
- Open the Trainings menu and click “Book Now” on the class you want.
- Use the Jobs section to find and apply for online jobs.
- Need help or internet? Check the support centres page for an Ajira centre near you.
Watch out
- Ajira training is free. If anyone asks you for money to join, report it to ajira@ict.go.ke.
- Once your ID is verified, you can't edit your names on the portal, so type them exactly as on your ID.
- Watch out for fake clients who ask for personal details or lots of free sample work. Point them to your profile instead.

- Young people in Kenya who want to work and earn online
- Any registered Ajira Digital member can join the training
