Town parking in Kisumu City costs KSh 100 a day for a vehicle up to 3 tons (KSh 50 in other sub-counties), or KSh 2,000 a month with a sticker. Pay by M-Pesa through the county's cashless system and keep the official receipt; clamping costs KSh 1,500 for a small vehicle.

Steps
- Pick daily parking or a monthly sticker. The rate depends on your vehicle's weight and whether you park in Kisumu City or another sub-county.
- Pay by M-Pesa through the county's cashless revenue system.
- Ask for and keep the official receipt for every payment.
- If you use a monthly sticker, pay by the 10th of each month to avoid the 20% late penalty.
Watch out
- If you don't pay, your car can be clamped: KSh 1,500 for a vehicle up to 3 tons, more for heavier ones.
- Paying a monthly sticker after the 10th adds a 20% penalty.
- Only pay a county revenue collector who is visibly wearing a county ID card.

- Anyone who parks a vehicle in county town parking in Kisumu, from small cars to lorries and trailers.
