Download KAS's Technical Personnel Application Form from kas.or.ke/useful-forms, fill in the course you want and attach your certificates and testimonials. KAS trains coaches, referees, umpires, team managers, PE teachers and sports administrators, from complete beginners up.

What you need
- Technical Personnel Application Form (and the Technical Personnel Admission Form once admitted)
- ID, passport or birth certificate number
- Documents and testimonials for your playing, course and work experience
Steps
- Download the Technical Personnel Application Form from kas.or.ke/useful-forms.
- Fill in the course you are applying for, your ID number and your experience, and attach your documents and testimonials.
- KAS verifies your documents. You then pay the course fee if there is one and register.
- You get your materials (and accommodation if offered), go through orientation and start training.
Watch out
- KAS does not publish course fees or dates online. Call or email KAS to ask what courses are coming and what they cost.
Who can apply
- Sports officials: team managers, coaches, referees, umpires, trainers and chaperons.
- PE and games teachers.
- Athletes moving into coaching or other roles, and retired athletes.
- Complete beginners with no training are also considered.
