Steps
- Log in to the KASNEB student portal (online.kasneb.or.ke) and open the "Exemptions Application" tab.
- Check the exemption schedule on kasneb.or.ke/exemption to see which papers your degree or diploma covers for your course (CPA, CS, CIFA and others).
- Upload clear copies of your certificates and full transcripts, and submit.
- Once approved, an invoice is generated. Pay it by M-Pesa using Paybill 222222.
- Download your official exemption letter from the portal.
Watch out
- Don't book or sit a paper you've been exempted from without written permission from the KASNEB CEO. If you do, you lose all your exemptions.
- Exemptions are paper by paper. You only get the papers your course content adequately covered, so a degree doesn't exempt you from a whole level.
