Book a KenGen power station tour or a visit to the Olkaria Geothermal Spa

Power station tours are for groups of at least 5 booked through an institution on booktour.kengen.co.ke, 14 to 90 days ahead, with a signed and stamped letter. The Olkaria Geothermal Spa in Hell's Gate is open daily 8am to 5pm and you book at geothermalspa.kengen.co.ke.

What you need
- For a tour: a request letter on your institution's letterhead, signed and stamped
- A valid government-issued ID for every visitor
Steps
- On booktour.kengen.co.ke, choose a site (hydro dams, Olkaria geothermal, wind or thermal) and a weekday 14 to 90 days away.
- Upload your institution's signed and stamped request letter.
- Wait for a regional coordinator to confirm your slot by email.
- For the spa, book a date at geothermalspa.kengen.co.ke/book, then pay Hell's Gate park gate fees on arrival.
Watch out
- Tours don't run on public holidays.
- To cancel or move a tour, tell KenGen at least 48 hours before (tours@kengen.co.ke, +254 711 036 000).
- The spa is inside Hell's Gate National Park, so KWS park entry fees are paid separately at the gate.

- Power station tours: groups from schools, colleges, companies and other institutions.
- Tour groups need at least 5 people.
- The Geothermal Spa is open to individual visitors and families too.
