Check if a physical planner is registered (PPRB)

Open the 'Registered Physical Planners 2026' list on pprb.or.ke and look for the planner's name or registration number. Only those marked with an asterisk hold a valid 2026 practising certificate and may run a planning practice.

Steps
- Go to the Downloads page on pprb.or.ke and open 'Registered Physical Planners 2026'.
- Search the list for the planner's name or registration number. It also shows their qualification and business name.
- Check for an asterisk (*) before the name. It means a valid 2026 practising certificate.
- To check a certificate you have been shown, enter its number on PPRB's Certificate Verification page.
Watch out
- A planner can be registered but have no valid practising certificate this year. Only names with an asterisk may carry out planning business.
- Practising as a physical planner without registration is an offence. If the person is not on the list, call PPRB before you pay.
Who can apply
- Anyone, such as a landowner or developer checking a planner before hiring them. The list is public.
