Search the free BORAQS public register at boraqs.go.ke by name, registration number or certificate serial number. Only people shown there as Active are registered.

Steps
- Open the Registered Architects or Registered Quantity Surveyors directory on boraqs.go.ke.
- Search by name, registration number or certificate serial number.
- Check firms too: there are separate lists for architectural firms and quantity surveying firms.
- For a building site, enter the project serial number from the BORAQS sticker or QR code on the site board to see the registered architects and quantity surveyors.
Watch out
- Architects' numbers start with A and quantity surveyors' with Q (for example A408 or Q408). Ask for the number and search it.
- The register lists verified and active professionals. If the person is not there, ask BORAQS before you pay them.
Who can apply
- Anyone, such as a homeowner checking a professional before they draw or approve plans. The register is public.
