Check if a physiotherapist or physiotherapy clinic is licensed (PCK)

Physiotherapy Council of Kenya · sources read 2 Oct 2026

Search the free PCK public register on portal.pck.go.ke by name or member number. A physiotherapist should show as Active with a licence that has not expired; clinics have their own list of approved facility licences.

Fee

Where
Online on the PCK public register (portal.pck.go.ke)
Go to PCK

Steps

  1. Open the Licensed Physiotherapy Members register on portal.pck.go.ke.
  2. Find the person by name or PCK member number, and check the licence expiry date and status.
  3. For a clinic, open the Approved Facility Licences list and look for the facility name and registration number.

Watch out

  • A physiotherapist may not practise without a PCK practising licence for the year. Clinics need their own PCK premises licence.
  • Licences run for the calendar year; the 2026 ones expire on 31 December 2026. Check the date, not just the name.
  • Not on the list? Ask PCK on info@pck.go.ke before you go ahead.

Who can apply

  • Anyone, such as a patient checking a physiotherapist before treatment. The register is public.
