Find a NACADA-accredited rehab centre or check if a rehab is accredited

Check NACADA's list of accredited treatment and rehabilitation facilities on nacada.go.ke, picking your county. If you are unsure about a centre, call NACADA's free 24-hour helpline 1192 for advice and referral.

- Online on the NACADA Rehabilitation Centers page, by phone on 1192, or at NACADA, NSSF Building, 18th Floor, Nairobi (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)
Steps
- Open the Rehabilitation Centers page on nacada.go.ke and pick your county to see the accredited facilities there, with their phone numbers and locations.
- If the centre you have in mind is not on the list, or you need help choosing, call 1192. It is free on Safaricom and Telkom and open 24 hours a day.
- You can also email help@nacada.go.ke with the name and location of the centre you want to check.
- Or walk in to NACADA (NSSF Building, 18th Floor, Nairobi) for free basic counselling and referral to treatment.
Watch out
- Not every rehab operating is accredited. Some centres are still waiting for NACADA inspection, so check the list before you pay or admit anyone.
- NACADA itself does not run residential rehab. It gives phone counselling and referrals, and inspects and accredits the centres.
Who can apply
- Anyone with an alcohol, drug or substance problem, or a family member looking for help for them.
