Find Auditor-General audit reports for counties, ministries and state corporations

Download them from the Auditor-General's website (oagkenya.go.ke) under Audit Reports: National Government for ministries and state corporations, County Governments for counties. A report is only made public after it has been tabled in Parliament or the County Assembly.

Steps
- For ministries, state corporations, universities, TVETs, schools, NG-CDF and political parties, open oagkenya.go.ke, go to Audit Reports > National Government and pick the section.
- For counties, go to Audit Reports > County Governments. There are sections for county executives and assemblies, county funds, municipalities, Level 4 and 5 hospitals and water companies.
- For one-off investigations (for example school capitation grants or COVID-19 funds), open Specialized Audit Reports > Special Audit reports and download the PDF.
- No internet? Copies are also at the Government Printer, public libraries, universities and colleges, and at the audited office itself.
Watch out
- Check the audit opinion first. Unqualified is a clean result. Qualified, adverse and disclaimer mean problems, and a disclaimer is the most serious.
- The report is not the end. Parliament's PAC (ministries), PIC (state corporations) and the Senate's CPAIC (counties) hold hearings on it and give recommendations.
Who can apply
- Anyone. Reports are open to the public once they have been tabled in Parliament or the relevant County Assembly.
