Read Controller of Budget implementation reports for counties and national government

Download them from cob.go.ke under Reports: County Reports for county governments and National Reports for ministries and agencies. Reports cover the first quarter, half year, nine months and the full financial year.

Steps
- For counties, open cob.go.ke, go to Reports > County Reports and choose a County Governments Budget Implementation Review Report.
- For ministries, departments and agencies, go to Reports > National Reports. These compare actual spending with annual targets.
- Pick the period you want (first quarter, first half, first nine months or the full year) and download the PDF.
Watch out
- The consolidated county reports are big files (around 40 to 50 MB). Download on Wi-Fi if your bundles are limited.
- These reports track how budgets are being implemented and money withdrawn. They are not audits: for audit findings, see the Auditor-General's reports.
- To report misuse of public funds to the Controller of Budget, call toll free 0800 720 141 or email corruption-reporting@cob.go.ke.
Who can apply
- Anyone. The Constitution requires these reports to be published and publicized.
