Only people listed in the Third Schedule of the Kenya Citizenship and Immigration Regulations 2012 can get one. Apply and pay KSh 15,050 on eCitizen, book an appointment, then submit your printed form and do biometrics on that day.

Steps
- Register on eCitizen, fill in the online application and upload scans of the required documents.
- Pay the fee (KSh 15,050) and book an appointment.
- On the appointment day, bring the printed form, two invoices and copies of your documents, and have your biometrics taken.
Watch out
- Only people in the categories listed in the Third Schedule of the 2012 Regulations qualify, so check that you are on the list before applying.
