Nandi County charges a KSh 2,000 fire inspection fee, then a yearly fire safety and compliance certificate priced by type of business. For example a bar or restaurant pays KSh 2,000 a year, a hardware KSh 5,000 and a supermarket or commercial premises KSh 8,000, the same in every zone.
