Steps
- Find your zone: Kapsabet CBD is Zone A1, Nandi Hills and Mosoriot are Zone B, towns like Kaptumo, Kabiyet and Lessos are Zone C, and other areas are Zone D.
- Find your business category in the county's single business permit fee schedule, for example small shop, kiosk or supermarket.
- Pay the application or renewal fee and the permit fee for your category and zone to the County Government of Nandi.
- Renew every year by 31 March.
Watch out
- After 31 March you pay the normal charge plus a KSh 500 penalty.
- The application or renewal fee is separate from the permit fee itself, so budget for both.
