Get a penalty waiver on a defaulted HELB loan

Under HELB's Ndoto Zetu, Jukumu Letu loan recovery campaign you can get up to 80% off your loan penalties. Leave your details through the link on HELB's Repay Loan page and HELB will contact you to agree a payment plan.

Steps
- Open the Repay Loan page on helb.co.ke and use the campaign link to leave your details.
- HELB contacts you to discuss and agree a loan payment plan.
- Pay as agreed. HELB repayments go through the eCitizen gateway (USSD *642#, the HELB app or the self-serve portal).
Watch out
- It's a discount of up to 80%, not always 80%, and HELB's page gives no end date. Confirm the terms with HELB before you pay.
- Penalties keep growing while you're in default: at least KSh 5,000 for each unpaid month.
