Get an Interstate Pass to travel to Uganda and Rwanda

Apply for free on eCitizen, upload your ID and birth certificate, and print the Interstate Pass from your account once it is issued. It lets Kenyan citizens and lawful residents travel to Uganda and Rwanda.

What you need
- Your ID card, or foreigner certificate (alien card), original and copy
- Your birth certificate, original and copy
- For a child: the child's birth certificate, original and copy
- For a child: a consent form
Steps
- Log in to eCitizen, fill in the Interstate Pass application and upload all the required documents.
- Once it is processed and issued, print the pass from your eCitizen account.
Watch out
- It only covers travel to Uganda and Rwanda.
- For a child, upload the child's birth certificate and a consent form too.

- Kenyan citizens and lawful residents travelling to Uganda or Rwanda.
