Get and download your eLogbook

National Transport and Safety Authority · sources read 2 Oct 2026

NTSA does not convert old paper logbooks. You get an eLogbook when you complete a vehicle service on the NTSA Service Portal (such as registration, transfer, change of particulars or a duplicate), then download it free from your own account.

What you need

  • Your eCitizen login, used to sign in to the NTSA Service Portal

Steps

  1. Sign in to the NTSA Service Portal with your eCitizen login.
  2. Apply and pay for the vehicle service you need: registration, transfer, change of particulars, a bank charge or discharge, or a duplicate logbook.
  3. When the service is complete, open your account and download the eLogbook. Extra copies are free.
  4. Anyone buying the car can check the eLogbook on the NTSA Services app or the Service Portal.

Watch out

  • There is no service to convert an old paper logbook. An eLogbook is only issued after you apply, pay and complete a vehicle transaction.
  • NTSA never asks for your details on WhatsApp, SMS or social media to send an eLogbook, and no agent can download it for you.

Who can apply

  • The registered owner of the vehicle. Only they can download the eLogbook.
