Get building plans approved by Narok County

Apply to Narok County with form PLUPA/DC/1B (KSh 1,500) and pay architectural plan fees by plinth area: KSh 50 per m2 for a house in Zone A towns such as Narok and Kilgoris, KSh 40 elsewhere. Structural drawings and an occupation permit are charged separately.

Steps
- Fill in the architectural plan application form PLUPA/DC/1B and pay KSh 1,500.
- Pay the approval fee by plinth area. A house in Zone A is KSh 50 per m2, so a 100 m2 house is KSh 5,000 (KSh 4,000 in Zone B).
- Submit structural drawings with form PLUPA/DC/1C (KSh 1,500) and pay the structural fee per floor (KSh 2,000 per floor for a house in Zone A).
- County officers inspect the site; each visit is KSh 2,000.
- When the building is finished, apply for a building occupation permit (KSh 5,000 for a house).
Who can apply
- Anyone building in Narok County. Zone A covers Narok and Kilgoris municipalities and towns such as Ewuaso Ngiro, Ololulunga, Suswa, Lolgorian, Talek and the Maasai Mara; Zone B is everywhere else.
