Talanta Hela finds talent mainly through scouting: athletes at KSSSA and KPSSA school games are picked for the National Sports Talent Camp, and the Talanta Hela Football Tournament is open to boys and girls aged 15 to 19. To ask about current openings, contact the Kenya Academy of Sports on 0114 491367 or info@kas.or.ke.

Steps
- If you are in school, compete in the KSSSA (secondary) or KPSSA (primary) games. Athletes for the National Sports Talent Camp are scouted there.
- Footballers aged 15 to 19 can play in the Talanta Hela Football Tournament. It starts with regional stages in Rift Valley, Coast, Central and Western, then national finals.
- Creatives and athletes can look to the Talanta Hela Digital Hub in Nairobi, which has a sports arena, recording studio and film studio.
- Ask KAS about current scouting, camps and tournaments: call 0114 491367 or email info@kas.or.ke.
Watch out
- Talanta Hela works mostly by scouting through schools and communities, so being seen in competitions matters more than filling a form.
- KAS runs the sports side of Talanta Hela with partners, so KAS is the right office to ask.
