What you need

  • Fully completed loan application form
  • Copies of national IDs and KRA PIN certificates for all borrowers (and the company, if limited)
  • Two recent passport-size photos
  • Business or company registration certificate
  • Bank statements for the last 6 months
  • Copies of proposed security and a recent valuation report
  • Customer account details form for a KCB account
  • Personal guarantee (directors' guarantee for a company)
  • Limited companies: sealed resolution to borrow, CR12, Memorandum and Articles, and audited accounts for 3 years for amounts above KSh 500,000
  • Copy of your AGPO certificate

Steps

  1. On ncpwd.go.ke/lpo-financing, download the loan application form and checklist, then fill it.
  2. Enter your details on the same page: business name, county, your name, ID number, disability number, email and phone.
  3. Upload each required document (one file per field) and click Submit Application.

Watch out

  • Applications only succeed if your name, ID number and disability number match NCPWD's database, so register with NCPWD first.
  • You need a KCB bank account.
  • NCPWD says loans have not gone above KSh 500,000 because of limited budget, so bigger orders may not be fully financed.

Who can apply

  • A person with disability registered under AGPO.
  • The business must have an LPO, LSO or contract from a government procuring entity.
