ICPAK AGM and council elections: who can vote

Only ICPAK members who have paid this year's subscription can vote for the Chairman and Council; Associate and Honorary members cannot. The Chairman and Council are elected at the Annual General Meeting, held within six months after the end of each year.

- Where
- Voting paper sent to paid-up members by email and/or post; AGM booking and documents on icpak.com; log in to MyICPAK to check good standing
Steps
- Make sure you are in good standing: annual subscription paid, at least 40 CPD hours a year and no misconduct issues.
- Log in to MyICPAK and check under your photo. If it says you are not in good standing, clear your CPD hours or subscription first.
- At least 30 days before the AGM, ICPAK sends a voting paper by email and/or post to every member whose subscription for the year is paid.
- Download the AGM notice, minutes and financial statements from icpak.com, and book to attend (physically or online) through the booking link.
Watch out
- Branch elections are voted online, using the branch voters' register.
- The AGM is where the Chairman and Council members are elected, alongside the Council's report, financial statements and appointing the auditor.
Who can apply
- Eligible ICPAK members. Associate and Honorary members cannot take part or vote.
- Your subscription must be paid. If it is unpaid after the due date, you lose the right to vote, nominate or stand.
- Branch elections: members in good standing registered with the branch at least 30 days before the branch meeting.
