Steps

  1. Find out what you owe: rates are charged every year based on the county valuation roll.
  2. Go to the county's Self Help Portal (revenue.uasingishu.go.ke), register your land and pay your land rates.
  3. You can do it from home, the office or a cyber cafe. Need help? Call 0700646464 or 0532016000.

  • If you get a written demand for unpaid rates, you have 60 days to pay before the county can act.
  • Rates left unpaid after a demand can end with the county auctioning the property.
