Fill the caution form (LRA 67), attach your ID, KRA PIN, 2 passport photos and proof of your claim, and lodge it at the land registry with KSh 1,000. To remove it, the person who lodged it withdraws it (same KSh 1,000), or a court or the Registrar orders it removed.

- Certified copy of your ID or passport and a copy of your KRA PIN certificate
- 2 passport-size photos
- Proof of your claim (only when placing a caution)

Watch out
- While a caution is on the register, the land can't be transferred or charged in a way that goes against it, unless the cautioner agrees or a court orders.
