Watch out
- Registration is not one-off: licences and annual subscriptions are renewed every year.
- Diploma and degree technologists register with KETRB, not the Engineers Board of Kenya. Practising without a KETRB licence breaks the law.

- Holders of a BSc in Engineering Technology, Higher National Diploma or Diploma in Engineering, or a Craft or Artisan Certificate.
- You need a KETRB licence to practise engineering technology.
