Register for NCA training (contractor CPD, site supervisors and construction workers)

National Construction Authority · sources read 3 Oct 2026

Every licensed contractor needs at least one NCA-recognised CPD training a year to renew. Register and pay in the 'Training' section of your NCA contractor portal, attend, then fill in the feedback form to complete it.

Fee

Where
Online in the 'Training' section of your NCA contractor portal
Go to NCA

Steps

  1. Check NCA's training calendar. For 2026/2027, contractor CPD runs as 4-hour online webinars with building code sensitisation.
  2. Log in to your NCA contractor portal, open the Training tab, pick an available training and click register.
  3. Pay the training fee from your account: open the tracking number, choose a payment method, pay, then click complete.
  4. Attend the training, then fill in and submit the feedback form. That marks the training 'complete'.

Watch out

  • Without a CPD training in the financial year you can't submit your licence renewal. Attending earns the firm 10 CPD points.
  • Attending alone isn't enough: submit the feedback form so the training shows as complete.

Who can apply

  • Licensed contractors: the firm's partner or director with technical qualifications must attend at least one CPD event each year
  • NCA also lists trainings for site supervisors and skilled construction workers
