Report insurance fraud to IRA's Insurance Fraud Investigation Unit (IFIU): call 0707 598 455 or email ifiu@ira.go.ke. The unit is staffed by DCI officers who investigate insurance fraud cases.

Watch out
- IFIU officers are seconded from the DCI and trained to investigate insurance fraud.
- Insurance fraud is a crime: a fine of ten times the amount involved, up to five years in jail, or both.

Who can apply
- Anyone who knows of insurance fraud. The most common cases are fake motor insurance claims and theft by insurance agents.
- Fraud by insurers, agents, garages or anyone in the claims process who knowingly misleads you about your cover or claim
