Sell livestock to KMC or buy KMC meat products

To sell cattle or other livestock to KMC, contact its Livestock Department at the Athi River headquarters (livestock@kenyameat.co.ke). To buy KMC meat, walk into a KMC depot (Athi River, Landhies Road in Nairobi or Kibarani in Mombasa) or a KMC franchised butchery.

Steps
- To sell livestock, email the KMC Livestock Department (livestock@kenyameat.co.ke) or visit KMC headquarters at Athi River, off Mombasa Road, to agree on supply.
- To buy meat, walk into a KMC depot: Athi River headquarters, Landhies Road (next to Shell) in Nairobi, or Kibarani on the Makupa Causeway in Mombasa.
- Or buy from a KMC franchised butchery in Nairobi or Mombasa.
- For bulk or institutional orders (schools, hotels, hospitals), email the KMC Sales Department at sales@kenyameat.co.ke.
Watch out
- KMC is no longer under the Ministry of Agriculture. The Ministry of Defence is its sector ministry, so deal with KMC directly, not through livestock offices.
- If you work in some government offices in Nairobi or at Kitengela EPZ, KMC vans sell meat right at your workplace.
Who can apply
- Livestock farmers who want a market for their animals; KMC was set up for this.
- Anyone can buy: walk-in customers are served at all KMC depots.
