Check if a doctor, dentist or clinic is licensed (KMPDC)

Go to registers.kmpdc.go.ke, open Medical Doctors or Dentists, and search the doctor's name. If they are not on the licensed list, they are not licensed by KMPDC this year.

- Online on the KMPDC registers (registers.kmpdc.go.ke). KMPDC offices: Woodlands Rd, Hurlingham, Nairobi
Steps
- Open registers.kmpdc.go.ke and choose Licensed Practitioners, then Medical Doctors or Dentists.
- Search the name. Check the registration number, qualifications, specialty and that the status says ACTIVE.
- For a clinic or hospital, open Licensed Health Facilities (private, public or faith based) and search the facility name.
- Also check the Closed Health Facilities list to see if the place has been shut down.
Watch out
- KMPDC only covers doctors, dentists and health facilities. Nurses, clinical officers and pharmacists are on other registers.
- Doctors trained or licensed outside Kenya are on separate lists (EAC and foreign). Check those too if you can't find the name.

- Anyone. The KMPDC registers of doctors, dentists and health facilities are open to the public.
