Browse and apply for overseas jobs on the government's Kazi Majuu portal, run by the Diaspora Placement Agency (DPA). If you are picked, DPA helps with pre-departure training, documents, visa interviews and travel papers.

What you need
- Before you travel: a signed employment contract (keep digital and paper copies)
- A valid work visa or permit for the country you are going to
- Medical and personal accident insurance cover
Steps
- Go to the Kazi Majuu portal (kazimajuu.diaspora.go.ke) and browse the overseas job openings that match your skills.
- Follow the instructions on the portal to apply for a listed job. DPA links you with the foreign employer.
- If you are selected, DPA helps with pre-departure training, preparing your documents, visa interviews and travel documents.
- Complete the required paperwork, then travel to start the job.
Watch out
- If a private agency approaches you, check that it is licensed by NEA before you pay anything, sign a contract or travel.
- Your employer abroad may not keep your passport. You are entitled to keep your identity documents.
