Steps
- Log in to the COC online services portal (portal.clinicalofficerscouncil.org) and apply for the professional practice licence.
- Make sure your 30 CPD points for the year are in.
- Pay the KSh 3,000 licence fee, plus any late penalty.
- If someone else collects the licence for you, send an authorization letter or email to info@clinicalofficerscouncil.org.
Watch out
- Every licence expires on 31 December of the year it was issued, whatever month you got it.
- An expired licence costs a KSh 1,000 penalty, plus KSh 200 a month once it's been expired for over three months.
- COC says renewal is done 3 months before expiry, so start in October.
