Pay parking fees in Kericho County

Street parking for a car or pickup in Kericho County costs KSh 100 a day in Kericho and Litein towns and KSh 50 elsewhere. A monthly private car sticker is KSh 2,000, due before the 5th; clamping costs KSh 1,500.

- Deadline
- Monthly parking stickers are due before the 5th of each month.
- Where
- On the street and in county car parks in Kericho Town, Litein and other Kericho County towns. Pay authorised county revenue officers by cash, mobile money, EFT or bank deposit. County toll-free line: 0800 720 464.
Steps
- For one day of street parking, pay KSh 100 for a car or pickup in Kericho or Litein town, or KSh 50 in other towns.
- If you park often, buy a monthly private vehicle sticker for KSh 2,000.
- Pay by cash, mobile money, EFT or bank deposit to an authorised county revenue officer.
- Always get an official county receipt.
Watch out
- If you do not pay, your car can be clamped (KSh 1,500 for a saloon or pickup) and towed (KSh 2,000 in Kericho Town).
- Pay your monthly sticker after the 5th and you pay a KSh 1,000 penalty on top.
- Only pay officers carrying a county identification card.
Who can apply
- Anyone parking a car, pickup or lorry in Kericho County towns. Zone A rates apply in Kericho Town and Litein Town.
