TSC entry and exit returns (teacher reporting to or leaving a school)

Entry and exit returns are filed on TSC Online by the head of institution, not by the teacher. Your old head exits you when you are released, and your new head must submit an online entry report as soon as you report.

What you need
- For a transferred teacher: the transfer letter and a release letter from the current head of institution
Steps
- The head of institution logs in to TSC Online (tsconline.tsc.go.ke) with their TSC number and password. Use 'Forgot password?' on the login page if needed.
- When a teacher leaves on transfer, the head releases them on time and exits them through the posting, entry/exit portal.
- When the teacher reports, the receiving head submits an online entry report on the same portal straight away.
Watch out
- You cannot open entry/exit returns with a teacher's login. Ask your head of institution to file them.
- The same returns are used to report matters like interdiction, injunction and suspension to TSC head office.
Who can apply
- Head teachers, administrators or officers authorised by TSC. Teachers do not file these returns themselves.
