Download the free KRA M-Service app from the App Store or Google Play to register a PIN, file nil returns, file and pay rental income and turnover tax, and check PINs and TCCs. No smartphone? Dial *572#.

Steps
- Download the KRA M-Service app from the App Store or Google Play. It's free.
- Pick the service: register a PIN, apply for a TCC, file nil returns, file and pay monthly rental income or turnover tax, or verify a PIN, TCC, payment or KRA staff member.
- On a feature phone, dial *572# for PIN registration, filing, payments, TCC application and checks.
Watch out
- The app files only nil returns, monthly rental income and turnover tax. Other returns, like a full income tax return with employment income, are filed on iTax.
- Someone claims to be from KRA? Use the app or *572# to verify KRA staff details before you deal with them.
Who can apply
- Anyone with a phone: the app on smartphones, *572# on any phone including feature phones
