Work as a KNEC exam supervisor or invigilator (CP2 portal) and get paid

KNEC supervisors and invigilators are teachers picked by the TSC Sub-County Director; once picked, you register on the CP2 portal (cp2.knec.ac.ke) and apply for your exam role there. You're only paid if your details are on CP2, and payment comes about 30 working days after KNEC's finance team gets complete documents.

Steps
- Create an account on cp2.knec.ac.ke with your mobile number, or SMS your ID number to 20078. Your username and password come by SMS.
- Log in and fill in your profile: personal information, work experience and qualifications.
- Under Jobs/Vacancy, pick the exam, activity, duty station, position (for example invigilator), county and sub-county, then tick to confirm and click Submit Application.
- During the exams, your centre manager records your attendance on CP2. That record is used to process your payment.
Watch out
- You're only paid if you submitted your details on CP2. Keep your profile (school, role, qualifications) up to date.
- Changed your phone number? You have to register afresh on CP2 with the new number.
- Forgot your password? SMS the word PASSWORD to 22262 and new login details are sent to your phone.
Who can apply
- Teachers identified by their TSC Sub-County Director. You can't just apply on your own.
- Covers officers recruited to help KNEC run exams: supervision, invigilation and exam management roles such as centre manager and invigilator.
