Kenya Seed Company · sources read 4 Oct 2026
Buy Kenya Seed Company seed from its branches, its authorised agents and stockists, or its online shop at shop.kenyaseed.com. Only buy sealed, labelled packets and check the KEPHIS label by sending the scratch code by SMS to 1393 (free).
- Fee
- We couldn't confirm a fee from the official page. Check it there before you pay.
- Where
- Kenya Seed branches (head office: Mbegu Plaza, Wamalwa Street, Kitale), authorised agents and stockists, or online at shop.kenyaseed.com. Phone 0722 205 144 or 0726 141 856, email info@kenyaseed.co.ke.
Steps
- Go to a Kenya Seed branch or an authorised agent or stockist near you. Head office is Mbegu Plaza, Wamalwa Street, Kitale, with branches in Eldoret, Nakuru, Narok, Bomet, Kericho, Kapsabet, Kisii, Kakamega and Bungoma.
- Buy from a dealer who displays their licence and the company they represent. Only buy sealed, labelled packets, never seed weighed out of an opened packet.
- Scratch the KEPHIS label on the packet and send the hidden code by SMS to 1393. It is free and the reply tells you if the seed is genuine.
- Ask for an official receipt and keep it with the empty packet and labels.
Watch out
- If the seed does not germinate well, contact Kenya Seed within 30 days of buying, with your proof of purchase.
- A packet without the company's original seal and proper label may be fake. Report doubtful seed to KEPHIS.
Who can apply
- Any farmer. Kenya Seed sells through outlets in every region via authorised agents and stockists.
