To check a pharmacy or pharmacist, search the PPB register at practice.pharmacyboardkenya.org/LicenseStatus. To report a fake or poor-quality medicine, report it on pv.pharmacyboardkenya.org or call +254 795 743 049.

What you need
- To report: the name of the medicine and where you bought it
- Photos or documents, if you have them (e.g. the pack or receipt)
Steps
- Open practice.pharmacyboardkenya.org/LicenseStatus and search the pharmacist, pharmtech or facility (retail, hospital or wholesale) register.
- Search by registration number if you can. Ask the pharmacist for it, since many people share names.
- To check a medicine, search its brand name on the PPB public list of registered products and look at the registration and expiry dates.
- Report a fake or poor-quality medicine on pv.pharmacyboardkenya.org (PvERS), by email to pv@pharmacyboardkenya.org or on +254 795 743 049.
Watch out
- Give your phone number when you report. PPB uses it to follow up and tell you the outcome.
- PPB says its online registers may not have the very latest data. If in doubt, contact PPB.
- A licensed pharmacy is meant to display its PPB licence clearly in the premises.
Who can apply
- Anyone can search the registers and report. A parent or guardian can report for a child.
