Complain to PPB about a pharmacy, chemist or medicine seller

Fill in PPB's online complaint form at ppb.go.ke/complaint: pick the complaint type and describe what happened. You can leave your name out and report anonymously.

What you need
- Details that help the investigation: names of people involved, the product brand or label, receipt numbers and the exact address
- For a product: its name and batch number, plus the pharmacy name, location and date of the incident
Steps
- Open the PPB complaint form at ppb.go.ke/complaint. It covers pharmacy practice, substandard medicines and unethical conduct.
- Choose the complaint type (for example Pharmacy Practice or Health Product/Medical Device) and write the details. These two are required.
- If you know it, pick the PPB department the complaint is about. This helps route it faster.
- Submit. Your complaint is logged and investigated confidentially, and PPB may contact you for more information.
Watch out
- A bad reaction to a medicine or a poor-quality medicine is reported on PPB's pharmacovigilance portal instead, not on this form.
- If you report anonymously, PPB cannot get back to you for more details, so put as much as you can in the first message.
Who can apply
- Anyone can complain, and you can stay anonymous. Leaving a phone or email lets PPB follow up with you.
