Check if a hospital is SHA-contracted or licensed

Open the Contracted Facilities page on sha.go.ke and pick your county to see every hospital, clinic and dispensary SHA has contracted. To check a facility is licensed, look it up on the KMPDC register at registers.kmpdc.go.ke.

Steps
- Go to sha.go.ke > Hospitals > Contracted Facilities and select your county.
- Look for the facility by name. The list covers hospitals, clinics, health centres and dispensaries.
- To see the primary care facility you're mapped to, log in to Afya Yangu and open the Health Facility tab under your profile.
- To check a licence, open registers.kmpdc.go.ke > Health Facilities > Licensed Health Facilities (private, public or faith-based) and search for the facility.
Watch out
- SHA only contracts facilities that are licensed and certified, so a facility on SHA's list has passed the regulator first.
- Free primary care is at Level 2 and 3 facilities near the sub-county you gave when registering. For specialised care you can go to any facility.
- If your preferred hospital isn't in your network, update your location to where that hospital is. SHA keeps adding facilities.

- Anyone can check. The lists are public and need no login.
