Dial *873*001# to check or pay your Mombasa water bill (MOWASSCO). You can also SMS your ten-digit account number to 20227 to get your balance.

Steps

Dial *873*001# to query your bill, get a mini statement, pay your bill, or lodge a complaint.
For your balance, SMS your ten-digit account number to 20227.
To ask about your bill, call 0714 906 091 (Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm, Sat 8am to noon) or email care@mombasawater.co.ke with your account number and phone number.

Do not pay MOWASSCO staff to avoid disconnection. Call customer care to agree a payment plan instead.
If your water is disconnected, visit the customer care centre to fill a reconnection form and pay the reconnection charge.
Bills are no longer posted. The meter reader delivers them by hand, or you can get them by email if MOWASSCO has your email address.
A payment shows on your balance only after it is posted to your account, within the billing month.
