Get ISO or management system certification from KEBS

Apply online on the KEBS IMS portal (ims.kebs.org). KEBS checks you are ready, sends a quote, then runs a two-stage audit before its certification committee decides; the certificate lasts 3 years with yearly surveillance audits.

Steps
- Apply online on the KEBS IMS portal (ims.kebs.org). KEBS first checks whether you are ready for an audit.
- If you are ready, KEBS sends a cost quotation. If you accept it, pay the application fee.
- KEBS runs a stage one audit (your documents and readiness), then a stage two audit on site to check the system really works.
- Send a corrective action plan for any nonconformities within 2 weeks.
- The certification committee makes the decision. Your certificate is valid for 3 years.
Watch out
- There is no fixed fee. The quote depends on things like your size, number of staff and shifts, sites and how many systems you want certified.
- Stage two must happen within six months of stage one, or you repeat stage one.
- Expect a surveillance audit at least once a year while certified.
Who can apply
- Organisations that have been trained on the standard and have already set up and are running the management system they want certified.
- Systems covered include quality (ISO 9001), food safety (ISO 22000, HACCP), environment (ISO 14001), information security (ISO/IEC 27001), occupational health and safety (ISO 45001) and good manufacturing practice.
