Pay Mombasa County's yearly fire inspection fee for business premises

Mombasa's Finance Act 2025 sets a yearly inspection fee by type of premises in its fire services list: KSh 3,000 for a shop, salon or office, KSh 1,500 for a food kiosk and KSh 20,000 for a supermarket. Pay through an official county channel and keep the receipt.

Steps
- Find the yearly inspection fee for your type of premises, for example KSh 3,000 for a shop, salon or office.
- Pay through an official county channel: a direct deposit to the county bank account or the county Paybill.
- Ask for and keep the official receipt for your payment.
Watch out
- If the inspectors have to come back, each later fire protection visit costs KSh 3,800.
- These fees apply for 1 January to 31 December 2026; check again in 2027.

- Business premises in Mombasa County, from food kiosks and shops to supermarkets, factories and petrol stations.
