Pay your Kakamega water bill on M-Pesa paybill 772153, using your water account number. Deposits and new connection charges go to a different paybill, 883061.

Steps
- To pay a bill: M-Pesa > Lipa na M-Pesa > Paybill, business number 772153, account number = your water account number.
- To check your bill, dial *873*048#, choose option 1 (Query Bill) and enter your account number.
- For a new connection, apply at the customer care desk of the KACWASCO office in your Area or Scheme and fill the application form.
- Pay the survey fee. KACWASCO then surveys your site.
- When asked to pay the deposit and connection charges, use M-Pesa paybill 883061.
Watch out
- Use the right paybill and type your water account number carefully, or your payment gets stuck in suspense.
- Do not use the old paybill 882846. It was stopped on 1 July 2021.
- If you are cut off for not paying by the due date, a KSh 1,000 reconnection fee is added to your bill.
- Moving out? Fill the account termination form to get your deposit back. It takes about 2 weeks.
