Apply for your KRA PIN online on iTax. You need your national ID details, plus your employer's PIN if you're employed.

What you need
- National ID or Alien ID details
- Your employer's PIN, if you're employed
- Business registration certificate details, if you're in business
Steps
- Open the iTax portal and choose PIN registration.
- Select "Individual", then "Online Form".
- Fill in Section A (basic information), Section B (obligations) and Section C (source of income).
- Submit. You get an acknowledgement receipt with a reference number to track your application.
Watch out
- Foreign students need a valid passport, student pass and an admission letter instead.
